Neuropsychological evaluation, carried out by neuropsychologists passionate about rehabilitation, aims to obtain a global understanding of cognitive functioning and to make a clinical judgment on the nature of the neuropsychological disorders of the person assessed. The neuropsychologist may also evaluate the contribution of behavioral or emotional disturbances that may arise from a medical or psychiatric condition.
This evaluation can take place over more than a day if necessary and involves an extensive interview with a neuropsychologist and various neuropsychological tests adapted to the needs of the person assessed. Each person is therefore evaluated according to its specific situation and an exhaustive analysis is subsequently carried out by the professional.
Once the neuropsychological evaluation is completed, the individual assessed will have a better understanding of his / her situation. Where appropriate, the report produced will also identify, with the help of the professionals in place, the needs of the individual, including rehabilitation.
